Everyone to whom much is given of him will much be required of him to whom men commit much they will demand the more In verse 47 tells three crucial things that are the responsibilities of each individual human being. First is to know the lord’s will, second is to prepare for it and the third is to do according to that will. In verse 48 we see that knowledge brings responsibility but knowledge that you don’t act upon has greater consequence. A man that doesn’t know the will of God stills suffers consequences.
