The stories of people in the Old Testament were recorded as examples for us today. God’s Word plainly reveals both the
good and the bad about such highly regarded individuals as Moses, Abraham, and Elijah. We’re not only told how the Lord
was able to move mightily in their lives, but also how and why they failed. The purpose of these stories is to benefit you and
me today. Many people believe that the only way you can really learn something is through hard knocks. They think you have to experience your own hardships, situations, and circumstances.
