The prophet Hosea said in Hosea 4:6a, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge…” The Bible contains that knowledge; it is the Manufacturer’s handbook, so to speak. Someone has made the statement, “the Bible is so simple, you’d have to have
someone to help you misunderstand it.” I believe that’s true, but we have to realize that we have had a lot of help down through the years. This problem is amplified by the parable Jesus related in the form of two questions: “… Can the blind lead the blind? shall they not both fall into the ditch?” (Luke 6:39).
